A story of passion, a love for the land, research, and innovation.
Orma is located on the Bolgherese Provincial Road, a Wine Road, just a short distance from the most historic vineyards in the area. It’s in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC appellation, with Ornellaia to the right and Sassicaia to the left.
The Moretti Cuseri family, today in its third generation, made its way to Bolgheri in 2004, captivated by the beauty of the area and determined to embrace the strengths of such a special wine production area. Their enthusiasm for Bordeaux blends began at the historic family estate Tenuta Sette Ponti in Castiglion Fibocchi with Oreno, an icon in the world of wine. The family decided to take this love of Cabernet and Merlot to the Tuscan coast, another fascinating and highly suitable winegrowing area with enormous potential. It was an adventure Antonio Moretti Cuseri decided to go on with sons Alberto and Amedeo.
Wines
Orma is the name of the first wine produced by the estate of the same name. It is made from 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Cabernet Franc and has been recognized nationally and internationally since its very first vintage in 2005. Passi di Orma, a Bolgheri DOC, was the result of the highly touted 2015 vintage.

A protected position, bolstered by a favorable climate and the exceptional terroirs of coastal Tuscany, which lead to complex wines with great character.
Bolgheri is the story of a dream, of a passion: the dream of a Tuscan Bordeaux blend, which has become a symbol, thanks to some of the wines of the area, beginning with Sassicaia. In very few other places is winemaking potential in such perfect symbiosis with the foresight of vintners who were the first to take a chance on this area of Tuscany, cultivating international varieties and insisting on impeccable quality. A quality now recognized all over the world.
